I am going to let this wedding speak for itself... no need to describe it, really. It was GORGEOUS! Tara is a stunning and elegant woman who is in love with Bear and all things Royal. Her inspiration for  her wedding "theme" was indeed, the Royal Wedding. The team involved in making this wedding happen, worked tirelessly and flawlessly together to make Tara's dreams come true. It was truly one of the most beautiful weddings we've photographed (which is hard to say for us, because we love all of our weddings! - What I love about them, is the fact that they are all so different from one another!)

Now THIS was original! Kylie and TJ love to cook. They love margaritas and everything Mexico-related (here is their awesome blog: "The Bacon Diaries"!) Not only that, they are creative and fun AND about to marry! That's right... their wedding is only a couple of weeks away and we could not be more excited for them! We've been waiting for their day for over a year and a half after all. I can't believe it's already here; time flies! Check out this sneak peek of their "cooking and mixing drinks" engagement session. It was just as fun as they are as people! We must thank our friend Shan (owner of Maloy's Jewelry Workshop) for his generosity. We were looking for a perfect kitchen location for their session and Shan offered his. Thank you sir! It was glorious! ;)

Elopements. They are simple, short, sweet, wedding celebrations with only a core group of people attending (or none at all!). We love photographing them!

We had the pleasure of meeting and being commissioned by the sweet Pilar & Larry a few months back, for their fun Thursday elopement at Multnomah County Courthouse in downtown Portland. Only a small group of family and friends attended the actual wedding ceremony, but then a few more people joined them at their reception for the "formal" dinner celebration.

We travel from the courthouse to the reception, at Mother's Bistro, by way of the Portland Waterfront on Portland's very own PDX Pedicabs. It was a smooth and fun ride with some super sweet photos as a result! I love pedicabs + brides!

Once we reached Mother's Bistro, we were struck by the beautiful and detailed decor which was designed by both Pilar (who's an incredibly talented graphic artist) and Stephanie, or Petalos (who is a local and fabulous designer and florist). Everything was perfect! Dinner was delicious, everyone had a blast and we felt like part of their family. Everything about this day was perfect!

It's sneak peek time again, and this one is very exciting to us. We've been longing to photograph at the majestic King Estate for years! Well... on August 11th 2012 we had the chance; not only that, we had the pleasure of seeing and photographing our beautiful couple: Kerianne and Tucker! We were welcomed with open arms by all around: the fabulous staff at King Estate and K+T's friends and family. The sun was shining bright, a slight breeze was blowing and the sunset turned out to be stunning, too. It was a great day and we are so excited to show you this handful of images, while we edit the rest of them.

Megan and Craig are married! We were so excited to hear that their venue was a living farm, with animals and barns and wide fields of grass and gorgeous trees. When we arrived there, it was all that and more! We had a blast... we explored the grounds and got to know their friends and family, whom were just simply rad! We're so lucky to have couples as fun as these two AND to get to shoot at places as fun as this one! Despite the 100 degree weather on this day, everyone had a blast. We all remembered to hydrate constantly! ;)

Courtney & Doug = LOVE! These two are adorable, total hams in front of the camera, and excited about life, music and each other!

We photographed their engagement session only a few days before their wedding (they live on the East Coast) but we totally hit it off immediately. We knew that their wedding in Newport Oregon would have been fun and memorable... sure enough, it was!

A couple of weeks ago, we travelled to Tara & Bear's home, in the Mt Hood forest. Little did we know that their acreage and home were going to be as beautiful as many Mt Hood area wedding venues! We spent the afternoon and evening with them, photographing them in different attires while exploring their property, inside and out. It was a blast and we really hit it off, which is so great since their wedding is coming right up this month!

They will marry in the Sandy area, surrounded by friends and family, coordinated and planned by the fabulous Jessica of Bash! Events NW and enveloped in a BEAUTIFUL Vera Wang dress... We are so excited for this!
